The STEPS Young Engineers Award encourages primary school students, in 3rd and 4th class, to develop creative engineering projects to help or improve their local community.
The children were tasked with identifying a problem and working in teams to come up with a creative engineering solution for a project in the local area.They were encouraged to focus on sustainability when creating their solution.
At this stage of our project, 3rd and 4th classes are having fun making their project prototypes.
