Waltons Music Competition 2026 - The Tooreen rhythms

The music group recorded their video for the Waltons Music Competition yesterday. The children adapted the song 'Sapphire' by Ed Sheeran for the competition. They incorporated singing, body percussion, dancing, lilting and instrumental music into their performance. Stephen Doherty who is a highly accomplished and extremely talented professional musician accompanied the children on the piano and bodhrán. The children performed brilliantly on their instruments and sang and danced beautifully throughout the recording. We are very proud of the children on their performance. Well done everyone!
