Tooreen NS have been part of the Daily Mile programme for the last couple of years. Today, as part of that initiative, 3rd & 4th classes took part in track and field events at the Centre of Excellence, where they were joined by other local schools. The event was hosted and promoted by Athletics Ireland. The children got to meet Lauren Cadden, a silver European medal holder in the women's relay race.
