The Music Group performed a lovely concert for the children from 1st - 6th Class and for parents on Tuesday in Tooreen Hall. They played polkas, jigs and waltzes and there was sean nós dancing, set dancing and Irish dancing on display. They also performed their musical piece 'The Tooreen Rhythms' that they will perform for the Waltons Music Competition. They were accompanied by professional musician and composer Oisín Mc Cann on the piano, guitar and bodhrán. Oisín will perform with the music group in the National Concert Hall on the 18th May. We congratulate them on a wonderful concert and we wish them the very best of luck in the Waltons Music Competition.
