The children took pictures in the school yard of any maths that they could find in the environment. Their images included; 2D & 3D shapes, patterns, lines & angles, number etc. They presented their pictures to the class and created problem solving questions to go with their pictures. Each child was challenged mathematically and they really enjoyed the task.
