The 1st of February marks a very special day in our school calendar as we celebrate the feast of St. Brigid who is not only one of Ireland’s Patron Saints but also the patron saint of our school. We have seen wonderful activities throughout our school this week as the children have made St. Brigid’s Crosses and completed beautiful artwork on the theme of St. Brigid. We also held a lovely whole school assembly this morning where we came together to mark the day and sang “A song to Brigid.” And best of all, we continue to celebrate this evening with a night off homework!! We would like to wish all of our students and their families a very happy Feast of St. Brigid.
