The children in 2nd & 3rd Class have been busy in March working with lego in maths, writing and delivering debates, creating group projects on the topic of weather, doing yoga workouts as Gaeilge and writing poetry! Mrs Fleming and Mrs Greally’s class groups also participated in a Zoom call with a very well known sean nós dancer, author and storyteller called Edwina Guckian. She spoke to the children about history, folklore, storytelling and about her new children’s book ‘Sparks from the Flagstones’. She also taught the children a group dance which the children really enjoyed!
